Marcellaz city hall

Marcellaz en Faucigny is a small village located at the foot of the Môle mountain in the Haute Savoie department. The town is part of the Community of Municipalities of the 4 Rivers.

The town covers 417 hectares, including 100 hectares of forest. Its inhabitants of Marcellaz are called the Marcelanais. In this dynamic and growing village, events take place throughout the year such as the music festival, the garage sale organized by the festival committee; the log cross organized by friends from school; writing workshops organized by the Idélire library network; rock, folk and jazz aperitif concerts in the village café. The charming and spacious village square with its granette, its basin and its playground is appreciated by all and surrounded by renowned shops: bakery, butcher, bistro. The six farms in the town represent a herd of 600 cattle, market gardening and the production of goat cheese. Also, several hiking trails are possible in the surroundings of the town. Les Balcons des Grands Près will allow you to discover on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback ride, the natural riches of the area around Saint-Jean de Tholome, Peillonnex, Marcellaz and Faucigny.
