Backing onto the southern slope of the Brasses massif (1,503m) and facing the Môle (1,863m), halfway between Geneva, Annecy and Chamonix, Ville-en-Sallaz is a village with a territory of 610 m at 1,220 m altitude 5 kilometers west of Saint-Jeoire.
It is bordered to the south by the Thy and Lac du Môle, a small artificial lake of 11 hectares, and is crossed by the RD 907. It borders the municipalities of Viuz-en-Sallaz to the east and north, of La Tour to the west and south, and Peillonnex in the extreme southwest.
Ville-en-Sallaz is a village made up of multiple localities and hamlets.
