Fillinges
Description
Fillinges is a rural town of 3,525 inhabitants, located at the foot of the Massif des Voirons. It stretches over a hilly area of 1167 hectares, split in two by crossing La Menoge and Le Foron, to the south “the plateau” and to the north “the mountain”.
Numerous walking trails run through the Voirons massif, partly classified as Natura 2000. You will be able to discover the Vouan millstones, the rooster crowing stone or even the gouille au mort, a charming little mountain lake. Fillinges is fortunate to have a developed associative fabric, the strong involvement of the population in local life is synonymous with dynamism and conviviality. The whole year is thus punctuated by numerous events. Every Saturday the place of the Saint-Laurent church hosts the weekly market with its local producers, while the Pont de Fillinges brings together all week a set of traders and services.
