Faucigny
Description
Faucigny gave its name to the former province of Faucigny.
From its prestigious past, it has preserved the ruins of the Château des Sires du Faucigny. The restored site is today the aim of pleasant walks from where you can discover Geneva and its water jet as well as a dozen church bell towers in the area. The Church of Saint-François de Sales was built in 1853. Its architecture is very representative of the Sardinian period. You can admire two magnificent statues in trompe l'oeil. The hiking route of the "Balcons des Grands Prés" allows you to discover the hamlets of Les Syords, Chez Padon, Chez Dubois or Chez Philippin and enjoy the serenity of the green falcon paths.
