Description
At the dawn of time, a shepherd put a little milk into a gourd made
the belly of a calf and obtained a strange result. 7000 years later,
children reproduce the steps that led from milk to tomme blanche
(unripened cheese).
From the udder to the plate, a long story begins: the transformation of milk into cheese... But "how is this possible"? Quality cows, tender grass to eat, a well-executed milking, a secret recipe from our cheesemakers, and that's it! The metamorphosis of milk into cheese just needs to be refined... For the duration of this workshop, the children become apprentice cheese-makers. In small groups, they make their own white tomme, each with a special mission... So grab your ladles, cauldrons and thermometers, and let's set off on a long journey down the cheese road!
