Saint François Holiday Center

The Saint François colony offers stays for all children from 6 to 12 years old. During each school holiday period, around thirty children meet at Chalet Saint François in Bogève, France, to spend 1 or 2 weeks in the camp.

Thus, more than 150 children spend each year in this completely renovated chalet which is very well suited to such stays. In our neighborhood, for many, this colony is rich in memories. Many Genevan priests supervised camps there and it is moving, for us, to hear the story of what they lived, and for them, to know that a tradition is perpetuated. The Saint François colony wishes to welcome children of all conditions. The constitution of entirely volunteer animation teams contributes to the warm and family atmosphere that is experienced in these camps, with a resolutely educational concern. The association of the Colonie Saint François is part of the Federation of Catholic Colonies of the Canton of Geneva.
